Sikh organizations express dissatisfaction over DGPC working

JAMMU JULY-2- Several State level Sikh organizations and members of District Gurudwara Prabandik Committee (DGPC) Jammu in an emergent meeting have expressed shock and dissatisfaction over the working of DGPC in Jammu and charged it of misusing Gurudwara funds .
Te meeting demanded proper maintenance of accounts and presentation of balance sheet and auditing of the DGPC accounts. The meeting expressed concern over the deteriorating condition of the residential quarters of Gurdwara Fathe Singh Gandhi Nagar
and alleged that President of SGPB and President DGPC were living in air conditioned rooms but Ragis and Sewadars are forced to live in dilapidated houses devoid of the basic facilities. .
The meeting said that present DGPC during the elections had promised to construct a good building for Gurudwara Gandhi Nagar apart from residential quarters but nothing has been done after coming into power. The participants at the meeting also criticized the DGPC for banning the langer in Gurudwara Singh Sabha Raghunath Bazar Jammu for Amarnath pilgrims besides banning their night stay.
Kehar Singh,Hazara Singh, Members DGPC Jammu, Ex-General Secretary, Satinder Paul Singh Sethi Secretary , Mohinder Singh,Chief Organizr Bhai Kanaya Jee Nishkam Seva Society, Paramjit Singh President AISSF , Navir Singh President Shiromani Youth Akai Dal,Amar Singh President Sikh Welfare Society, Gagan Singh Chairman Sikh Sangat, Manmohan Singh Chairman Gole Gujral, Jagdev Singh President Akali Dal, Kultar Singh,Kanchan Singh Chatta, Darshan Singh SO and Kulwant Singh Chief Advisor Noujawan Sabha also attended the meeting .
