| Lightning claims govt employee | | | Two soldiers killed in road mishap SRINAGAR, AUGUST 21,: Two soldiers were killed and another injured, when a mini-truck they were traveling met with an accident at Uri in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday. Elsewhere in the valley an employee of sheep husbandry was killed when lightning struck a temporary tent at Yousmarg in outskirts of central Kashmir on Sunday. According to the reports reaching here two soldiers were killed and another injured when a mini-truck they were traveling in, skidded of the road and fell into a deep gorge at Thajwani in Uri on Monday morning. Reports said that injured personnel was rushed to the hospital where his condition is stated to be critical. In yet another incident an employee of Sheep Husbandry Department identified as Mohammad Anwar son of Ghulam Joo of Charie-serief was killed when lightening struck a make-shift tent in Bergkah village, 4 kms from Yousmarg in central Kashmir on Sunday afternoon. Reports said that a doctor identified as Muin Ahmad was also injured in the lightening incident. He was admitted in the hospital from where he was discharged after necessary treatment, reports added.
