BJP has strongly condemned the police lathi charge on the hapless farmers of Sungli Village, whose land has been acquired for setting up University campus at Bhaderwah, when they were peacefully protesting for suitable compensation. The party in a statement issued today has demanded stern action against police officials responsible for uncalled for lathi charge and misbehaving with the women folk.
Koshal Kotwal senior BJP leader also accused the police for registering a FIR against Mandal President without any reason and demanded immediate withdrawal of the same failing which the party activists would come to the streets. |
