‘Public park at Bhour Camp’

A public park would be set up at Bhour Camp near here spreading over 356 kanals of available state land.
The Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad visited the site of the park today and issued instructions for starting the work on it immediately. He gave on the spot instruction to the concerned officials for speedier execution of the project
The Chief Minister asked the Irrigation and Flood Control authorities to take up work on protection bunds immediately on the nallah flowing alongside the site of the park to arrest soil erosion. Later, Azad also inspected the work of landscaping of the strip opposite Kranti Hotel in between road and nallah near Railway Station and impressed upon the concerned officials for early completion of the work.
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mangat Ram Sharma, MLA, Raman Bhalla, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Anil Goswami, Chief Engineer, Irrigation and Flood Control, Jammu, V. K. Abrol, Deputy Commissioner, Jammu, Hirdesh Kumar Singh, Director, Floriculture, Jammu, K. K. Sharma and other senior officers were present.
