Uncaring attitude towards workers responsible for BJP's backpedal

Indifferent attitude in Bhartiya Janta Party towards its workers has been one of the main reasons responsible for creeping up factionalism in the party which gradually worked adversely in the form of losing its ground rapidly in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
Sources within the party said that the insensible attitude of top leaders of Party in the state has contributed in a big way in diminishing the Party's popularity in the state.

Unlike any other political organization, Bhartiya Janta Party remembers the contribution of worker till he or she is active and severs all its ties as soon as the worker is confronted with the trouble, Sources said.
Supporting his point, the disgruntled worker of the party revealed that the party leadership was all the praise for Kausar Nassim, who contributed enormously for strengthening the party at grass root level but as soon as she developed cancer, party leadership in a jiffy became oblivious of her contributions.
"Kusar Nasim's contribution for the party both within and outside the state is not hidden to any body and when she asked the party leadership for assistance no body came forward to lend a helping hand to her in such a difficult period," sources said.
Sources further said that this is not solitary case, the party leadership has always demonstrated its "callous attitude" whenever the worker is faced with the trouble of one sort or the other.
"Unlike other political parties of the state, the party leadership never cares for the workers during the hardest of times which has adversely affected the party at grass root level," they said.
There are hundreds of workers who have been compelled to become inactive after experiencing the bitter treatment of party leadership from time to time, sources said.
Sources further said that not long ago there was a common belief that BJP would emerge as a political force at least in Jammu province in the future but the subsequent performance of the party itself proves the ineffective leadership of State BJP unit.
"The indifferent attitude of the party towards its workers slowly but surely developed factionalism in the state unit of BJP, the consequences of which can be assessed by the fact that the party has only one member in State Legislative Assembly," they said.
