| Clash between two NC groups injures 3 | | | Early Times Reporter

Three persons were injured when a clash between two groups of National Conference took place at Bus stand Mendhar during the morning hours today.
Sources said that the supporters of ex MLC, Rahim Dutt and MLA Mendhar, Javed Rana got involved in a verbal duel at main Bus Stand at Mendhar which gradually developed into a full fledged clash.
They further said that all of a sudden the supporters of two NC leaders started pelting stones and bricks at each other which resulted into injuries to three persons including a close relative of Ex MLC.
The clashing groups could not be controlled even by the policemen on duty. However, It was only after the intervention of the common people of the town that the situation could be brought under control.
Those injured in the clash have been identified as Choudhery Aftab alias Tabi, Azam Jatt and Mukhtar Ahmed. They have been admitted in Sub District Hospital Mendhar. |
