Gov felicitates artist of devotional song competition

Prominent singers of northern India who recently participated in All India devotional Song competition at Katra were facilitated on eve of Deepawali at Raj Bhawan by the governor Lt. Gen (retd) S.K. Sinha here today.
The artist who were facilated include Naveen Punjabi, Meenu Atwal, from Punjab, Mool Raj and Julekha Farid from Bhaderwah (J&K) and Juhi Singh and Mohinder Soni from Jammu.
On the occasion these artists performed in presence of governor who appreciated it Rakesh Wazir, chairman, all India devotional song committee was also facilitated on the occasion.
As per press release, competition jointly organized by Sri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and J&K tourism department and remains centre of attraction for all nine days.
Among others present on the occasion were lady governor Premini Suha, Arun Kumar, Sonali Kumar etc.
