| Soldier goes amok, kill 2 officials | | | Early Times Reporter
BHADRWAH | Nov 10
Two army officials including one Junior commissioned officer were killed by a soldier, who ran amok inside corps battle school at Bhalra in Bhaderwah sub division of Doda district on Saturday.
Army spokesman said here today that one soldier Vivek Kumar sharma fired several shots on his two senior colleagues at 11.50 am in the training area. The two army officials including one junior commissioned officer died on the spot. The JCO has been identified as Subedar Shiju Alex. Another NCO battalion subedar major Brij Bihari was also killed in the shootout.
The army spokesman said the soldier was taken in to custody and court of Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the provocation for the crime |
