| Bhagat for massive participation in Mayawati’s rally | | | Early Times Reporter RS Pura | Nov 12 Close on the heels of the forthcoming visit of UP Chief Minister and BSP President Mayawati to the city of temples, the Bahujan Samajwadi party has launched a massive campaign to ensure maximum participation for according her a grand reception and good attendance at her public rally. Rakash Bhagat district vice president of the party has appealed the people in general and party activists in particular to attend in large numbers at the public rally to be addressed by the Party Chief here on November 18. Bhagat said that in view of the growing popularity, the BSP is all set to make inroads in the Jammu and Kashmir political arena and expressed optimism of his party getting a majority of seats in the ensuing assembly elections. He said the party which has made a grand come back in UP is likely to repeat its performance in other states which are going to polls in near future. Strongly criticizing the ruling alliance, the BSP leader held it responsible for neglecting the poor and down trodden and called upon the people to get ready for giving a crushing blow to the opportunist parties by defeating these in the ensuing elections. |
