| SAJJAD LONE PREPARING KASHMIR ROADMAP | | |
SRINAGAR, AUG 21: Amid all the talks with regard to different proposals floating and the preparatory stage for roadmaps aimed at resolving Kashmir issue, the chairman of a faction of Peoples Conference led by articulate separatist Sajad Gani Lone too has come up with his own Kashmir roadmap. Mr Sajad, the son of slain Hurriyat Conference leader Abdul Gani Lone, will soon make public his roadmap after consultations with his party's central working committee (CWC) and incorporating changes, additions and deletions. Roadmap is all set to be sent for printing by September 10 after thorough consultations and approval by the CWC, a statement issued by JKPC led by Sajad said. On August 19, Mr Lone presided over the General Council meeting of the party in which the roadmap prepared by the party was put before the council. The Council gave some suggestions, which would be incorporated into the road map and the final version would be put before the Central Working Committee on September 5. According to a party statement, the roadmap is a document of 40,000 words approximately, divided into five sections viz. historical perspective, empirical evidence, psychological and reality variables, current scenario and eclectic model. Local newspapers here reported that the eclectic model signifies the culmination of the road map in the form of a solution and is an attempt to realistically evaluate the variance in the sentiment and set about an evolving process of accommodation of the claims of all the parties in accordance with the variance in the sentiment. The road map has evolved against abstract settings of the invisible dimensions of the dispute.
