Narwal police last night seized a truck loaded with large quantity of illegal cement when it was being parked in the area.
According to reports last night during routine patrolling in the area police party led by IC/PP Narwal Vikram Sharma saw a truck parked under suspicious condition in the area and started checking the vehicle. Sources said during checking police recovered about 180 bags of cement and took the seized vehicle to police station for further verification. Reports said during checking the documents police found that the cement was loaded for Uri, Srinagar and the driver parked the vehicle in Narwal area for black-marketing. Police has also registered a case in this regard and started investigating the matter. |
