| PG Arts makes 333 for 8 against MAM (E) | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 12 Sailing on a brilliant century from Atul Sharma, the combined side of PG Arts is all set to make a big total against Government MAM (Evening)College in the semi-finals of the inter-college cricket tournament underway at University of Jammu grounds, here today. When the stumps were drawn the PG Arts were comfortably placed at 333 for eight in 80 over. At lunch, PG Arts were playing at 176 for two. It was Atul, who hit 13 boundaries to make 103 runs and Varuneshwar (85 off 103 balls, 12x4), who in fact guided PG Arts to a big total. Opinder and Vikram contributed 30 and 24 runs respectively. Gourav (23) and Rahul were at the crease when first days play ended. On the other hand, MAM College bowled disciplined bowling and gave away only 20 extras in the 80 over play. Vikas was most successful bowler from MAM College with four for 85 in 20 over while Pawan took two and Rohit Sharma one. The semi-final is being officiated by Ranjay Sharma and Vijay Dogra as umpires while Satpal maintains the score. |
