The two-member selection team of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) shall announce the 15-member junior women squad for the North Zone competitions tomorrow.
Otherwise scheduled for today, the selection process has been postponed by a day due to security cordon at MA Stadium for Children’s Day function. “The team will be named tomorrow morning by the two-member selection committee led by veteran cricketer and working committee member of JKCA, Prof Pran Malhotra and a senior women cricketer after selection trials at GGM Science College hostel ground, here,” joint secretary of JKCA Jammu wing, Sunit Sharma told SAN.
After the team is announced the squad shall proceed for the venue, Una in Himachal Pradesh in the evening. At Pekhubela in Una, J&K will play four matches, beginning from November 15, against Himachal, Punjab, Haryana and Delhi. |
