| Bhatti praises Azad for transparent governance, development | | | Early Times Reporter

Congress leader and Chairman All India Mahatma Gandhi National Foundation, Zahir Abbas Bhatti praised congress led coalition government for transparent governance, development, peace and prosperity in the state.
Addressing a press conference here Monday, Bhatti said that Azad government, on completion of its two years in the office has fulfilled the aspirations of the masses of state in every respect.
“Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad took bold steps for the betterment of the people of all the three regions of state and the peace and prosperity is the consequence of transparent and indiscriminate governance," he added.
He further said that the creation of eight new districts and thirteen Tehsils across the state proves the fact that Azad is committed to full fill the aspirations of the people of the state.
“Azad is the first leader of state who demonstrated political skill and commitment to create new districts and Tehsils so that the aspirations of people are full filled," he said
While mentioning about Roshni Act, Bhatti said that previous governments had mocked with the people of Jammu and Kashmir by introducing the Act but Azad Government in true spirit has implemented the Roshni Act and empowered the poor farmers to have ownership rights.
He also praised UPA government, PM Manmohan Singh and Congress President, Sonia Gandhi for wholehearted contribution in restoring peace and progress in the state. |
