An army jawan died on the spot and another got serious injuries in an accidentally blast at Sirtangal area of Bhardwah today and the army has ordered an inquiry into the incident..
According to reports Bhim Khashap of Jharkhand posted with 4 RR was on the sentry duty and accidentally a grenade blast took place in which he died on the spot and another got serious injuries.
Reports said that after hearing the blast sound, other jawans rushed to spot where they found the jawan dead and informed their senior officers who later rushed to spot and also ordered inquiry in this regard. The other injured jawan was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Sources said the jawan on guard duty had a grenade which accidentally went causing instant death of the jawan and injury to his other colleague. Police has also registered a case in this regard and is investigating the matter. |
