| Local residents assist Traffic Police to check overloading | | | Jammu, Aug 21: In an initiative to implement traffic rules, the local residents of Rehari colony, Jammu assisted traffic police in checking of matadors with the view to lessen the overloading of the mini busses of the area It is yet an another appreciative step taken by the locals of a particular area to check the overloaded matadors, which on the other hand is helping hand to traffic authorities. “The step of this kind of assistance was taken in consolation with traffic police so that the overloading, high speed and fast music are controlled” says a member of Rehari Welfare committee. “The misbehavior of conductors with general public has always been noticed and they need education which we are giving them by showing the strength of public who even can boycott to board such vehicles” says another resident of the area. With the help of in charge police post, Sarwal Arun Kotwal and Molalla welfare association President Vishal Chopra along with other members of the committee organized the programme. The step taken by the residents has been widely appreciated by the people who also shown their desire to participate in such programmes in their respective areas. |
