Not the developmental projects that went on the slow and sluggish place but the much hyped ‘PHE Scam in Bhadewrah or in multi crore scam PHE in Rajouri, CD Porno Scam, Sleaze in Valley and Jammu and above all the corruption in the state that has put the state in the top corrupt state of the nation as per surveys but not on the developmental spheres..
Apart from this the Land Mafia, Forest Scams too have made the state to steal the show in the media sections despite tall claims of the ruling regime about the good governance and the land mafia scams whatever it would be the state government has been tagged with a the title one of the corrupt state during the end of 2005 by a survey conducted by a weekly magazine.
Either it is individual approach or psychic or the corrupt system but everything went to the winds during this regime. In this much hyped industrial scam approximately 11,000 industrial units have become untraceable after enjoying the subsidies and other benefits, high placed sources said.
Sources in the industry department said that barring few who have retired majority of the concerned officers during whose tenure the scam would had taken shape are now enjoying privileged postings in other state departments.
It is to mention that when the coalition Government came into power the concerned minister after finding irregularities ordered a departmental inquiry that finally in its report that about 11,000 industrial units disappeared from the sector within the last 25 years. Henceforth the state government has sent the case to the Vigilance Organization and until now the government has completely not only to trace the ‘disappeared industrial units’ but also have failed to trace the errant officials too.
But one high-chaired officer in the same on anonymity admitted that a formal letter was received by the department in the month of the February. But the higher officials have asked the some more information to go ahead for the investigation of this case of relocating missing industrial units and the reply is yet awaited. ‘The case even has mentioned the some units set up about 25 years ago but lacking the due information (as in most of the cases the record is not available) this case itself has become an ‘unreciprocated issue’. |
