| Hospital Superintendent booked by Vigilance for Forgery | | | Jammu August 21:
The State Vigilance Organization (SVO) today registered a case of forgery against the Superintendent of District Hospital Udhampur, under section 5(2) of PCA 2006 and 420 of RPC, for forging his original date of birth in the service book.
According to the reports, Vigilance had booked a complaint about the Superintendent and today after investigating the matter found that Dr.Abdul Hamid Mir s/o Shah Nawaz Mir R/oTarara Wali Gali, Surankote Poonch, presently working as Superintendent at District Hospital Udhampur, had changed his real date of birth 27th of March 1947 into 27th of march 1949. As per the original date of birth Dr. Hamid was to retire in 2005 but by changing his real date of birth in the service book he howsoever managed to remain in the job.
