| ICDS organizes awareness camp | | | Early Times Reporter

Awareness camp was organized by ICDS Project Kathua at village Jakhbar in Tehsil Kathua yesterday under IEC programme.
CDPO Kathua Ms. Sushma Gupta, Mrs Sudesh Kumari, ACDPO and other functionaries and anganwadi workers were present on the occasion.
More than 300 females attended the camp and were educated about mother and child care, balanced diet and health component.
They were imparted awareness about various schemes launched by the government for upgrading socio-economic condition of weaker section of the society. The village ladies were asked to maintain hygienic condition in their surroundings.
Refreshment was also distributed among the participants. |
