Political instability left state at low ebb on political front: Hakeem

President PDF and Minister for Transport Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen has said that PDF stands for equitable development of all the regions of the state and believes in political philosophy that encompasses the aspirations of the people of state.
Addressing a daylong party workers convention at Srinagar on Tuesday, Hakeem Yaseen said that political instability has been created in the state since 1947 saying that people were cheated at various levels. He said that fostering of friendly relations between India and Pakistan are helpful in preparing ground for amicably resolution of all bilateral issues including Kashmir and creating lasting peace in the sub-continent. He said that his party advocates strongly involvement of all genuine groups in the peace process to put forth their view points in the negociations on Kashmir issue.
Hakeem Yaseen said that Jammu and Kashmir is moving speedily towards peace and prosperity adding that objective of the coalition government led by Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad is to achieve all round development in the state. He asserted that the people of the state had made lot of sacrifices and suffered heavily during past two decades of turmoil and uncertainty.
He appreciated the will of the people for with standing the adversities to uphold peace and harmony all these years. He said the state is fastly achieving the goal of development by the help of liberal financial assistance of the Central Government.
Mr. Yaseen said that un-employment is a big challenge before the coalition government and underlined the need to tackle the situation seriously and appealed the Central Government for announcing an employment package for the state. He also demanded allowances for the unemployed educated youth of the Jammu and Kashmir state.
Yaseen said present government has taken several steps for protection of Human Rights but it is need of the hour to bring the situation down to the zero level. He asked the officers to work with more dedication and honesty so that programmes and policies of the government are implemented properly.
Hakeem Yaseen asked the workers of the PDF to cooperate with the government and strengthening the hands of the Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad in taking the state towards peace, development and prosperity.
