| Hiteshwar excels in Roll Ball | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 24: Hiteshwar Singh played a key role in double gold win of Jammu and Kashmir in boys and mixed event in the recently held Mini (U-11 yr) National Roll Ball Championship at Pune in Maharashtra. A student of Delhi Public School (DPS) Jammu remained leading goal scorer of the championship and virtually clinched the gold single handedly scoring 31 goals out of a total of 48 scored in the final. In the mixed doubles again he was the leading goal scorer. On the basis of his performance, Hiteshwar was adjudged best player. Organised by the Maharashtra State Roll Ball Association, 13 teams took part in the event. |
