Jammu | Nov 24: International Wushu player and national coach, Kuldeep Handoo today declared open the Jammu District Wushu Championship at Indoor Complex of M A Stadium, here.
On the opening day of the two-day event, competitions were held in lowest age groups of five years in both boys and girls sections.
Meanwhile, according to the organizing secretary of the championship, Vivek Bassan, in the concluding function, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Muneer Khan has consented to be the chief guest in tomorrow’s prize distribution function.
The detailed final results:
Under-5 yrs boys: 12 kg: Vansh Magotra, Ist; Aayush Sharma, 2nd; Aayush Gupta and Akshun Gandotra, joint third. Below 15 kg: Manojit Singh, Ist; Priyansh Jamwal, 2nd; Jagmeet Singh and Namandeep Singh, joint third. Below 18 kg: Harshit Jamwal, Ist; Shaswat Goswami, 2nd; Jivi Pratap Singh and Arya Varoan Singh, joint third. Below 22 kg: Mohd. Umar Kohli, Ist; Dev Ganish Samyal, 2nd; Restorjit Neorem and Harman Singh, joint third.
Under-5 yr girls: 20 kg: Gouri, Ist; Khushi, 2nd; Niyate Kanotra and Tasleem Kour, joint third.
Under-8 yr girls: below 25 kg: Reecha, Ist; Shivangi, 2nd; Vasvi and Radhika, joint third. |
