| IED defused, grenade explosion in Sopore | | | Early Times Reporter
Srinagar | Nov 24: While Bomb Disposal Squad of police disposed off IED in New Line Hotel Sopore, militants triggered a hand grenade towards a residence of civilian in Tujar Sharief village Sopore.
Police sources said that the timely action of the police averted a major tragedy when it detected and diffused IED at New Lines Hotel Sopore early today.
Meanwhile, unidentified militants lobbed a grenade towards the house of Abdul Rashid Tantry son of Mohammed Sultan Tantray at Tujar Sharief in Sopore. However, the grenade missed the intended target and exploded in the compound of the house resulting minor damage to walls of the house. |
