Minority Front demand compensation for camp dwellers

JAMMU AUG-21- In an emergency meeting the J& K Minority Front has demanded grant of immediate compensation to the migrants putting up in Purkhoo, Mishriwala, Muthi and Nagorta camps whose belongings washed away in the flood- waters.
R L Raina General Secretary and member of Apex Committee appreciated the role of local SHO Katoch who swung into action without wasting any time and came to the rescue of the affected people. The inmates have also expressed satisfaction over the Relief Commissioner’s assurance of all possible help to the affected families.
The meeting felt the need for enlisting the affected families and also demanded immediate restoration of water supply to Purkhoo camp phase II and III besides reconstruction of Hawan shala of the community hall.
K J Koul, Krishan Ji Kheda, Bushan Lal Raina, R L Thusoo, SN Bandari Rattan Lal, Vijay Kumar,Sudesh Gosanyee, Banerji and B L Raina also attended the meeting.
