| Govt. fails to provide solace to people: Salathia | | | Early Times Reporter Samba | Nov 25 Lambasting over the performance of coalition government at village Badhori in Bari-Brahmna area, the ex-minister and senior national conference leader Surjeet Singh Slathia said, the promises made during last elections by congress and PDP turn hoax and such people are suffering a lot. Slathia said, government failed to provide employment to educated youth whose number is increasing day by day, beside people are facing problems due to non-availability of drinking water and frequent cuts in power. He further said, farmers are crying for fertilizer, seed etc, as govt. failed to provident those items to farmer. Criticizing the working of the MLA of the constituency presently Minster said, has totally ignored the people of constituency, and on the hand benefit his near or dear ones. He said, national conference is watching the activities of the govt. with regard to development etc. He said national conference is people party and since its inception party is working for betterment of the people in all the three regions of the state. He appealed to gathering strengthen the hands of Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah. A large number of political activists belonging to PDP, BSP joined national conference and assured Slathia that they will carry the programme and policies of NC to common masses. The person who joined party were, Rashid Hussain, Akla, Yogesh, Romesh Kumar and Bashir Ahmed. Among other who also address the gathering were Vijay Singh Jasrotia, Rashid Hussain and Shakti Singh. |
