8/21/2006 11:44:35 PM
JAMMU AUG-21- Expressing deep concern over the Government’s non-serious attitude on the very sensitive and burning issue of rising unemployment among the educated
youth in the state, National Conference Provincial President Ajay Sadhotra has criticized the coalition government of its failure in fulfilling its promise to this regard made in the election manifesto.
Sadhotra was taking to a deputation of unemployed youth from Jammu who called on him today to apprise him about problems confronting the unemployed youth in the state. He assured the deputation that his party would strongly take this issue with the concerned authorities.
He said this insensitiveness of the government towards this burning issue is very alarming and alleged that the government has totally failed to boost the self- employment program. He strongly advocated for enhancement of wages of SPOs to Rs.5000 per month and that of the Rehber-i-Taleem teachers to Rs.7000 per month.
