| Pak violates ceasefire; Solider killed on LOC | | | Early Times Reporter

A solider was killed when Pakistan Rangers allegedly resorted to indiscriminate firing, in violation of ceasefire agreement, on a forward post along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch sector, this morning.
Well informed sources said that Pakistani soldiers resorted to indiscriminate firing on a forward post of Indian Army at Languor, Sunday morning.
One of the solider on guard duty received two bullets shots and died on the spot, sources said. His identification could not ascertained immediately.
Defence Spokesman Col SD Goswami confirmed the killing saying, "Yes a solider was killed in a hostile fire on Languor post this morning". He, however, said that the matter was being investigated. |
