Parvez Musharraf has remained engaged in political and constitutional wrangles forcing him to lose his grip on the security scenario in Pakistan which was worsening because of series of bomb blasts. And those agencies aiding militants, operating in Jammu and Kashmir, were trying to send more militant groups to strengthen the ongoing Jehad in the state. The reports said that militants were trying to sneak into Jammu and Kashmir for evading their arrest or elimination in Pakistan. One report said that as a result of continuous criticism of human rights violations being allegedly committed by troops, the security forces are said to have downsized the level of anti insurgency operations which had given an opportunity to militants to regroup and extended their bases in the state. |
