| U-19 cricket: J&K comfortable against Jharkhand | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 26: Bowling out Jharkhand for 200 runs, Jammu and Kashmir seem to be in a comfortable position with 85 for one at the end of day one play of the Cooch Behar under-19 cricket tournament underway at Delhi. Reports reaching here said that both Pervez Rasool and Manik Gupta bowled true line and length to restrict Jharkhand from making it a big total. While Pervez emerged as most successful with five wickets, Manik took two. Ram Dayal bagged one. In reply, J&K were in a comfortable position with 85 for one. Adil Rishi was the outgoing batsman who contributed 29 runs. Ranjeev Singh and Manik Gupta were at the crease with 32 and 17 runs in their respective accounts when stumps were drawn. |
