| Gupta rejoins PDP after four years | | | Early Times Reporter

Bhushan Lal Gupta, the founder member and former president of the district committee who had earlier left the PDP due to some misunderstanding rejoined it after a gap of four years.
Gupta, along with Rashpal /Singh, Kuldeep Kumar (Sham), Raj Kumar Thappa and Bhushan Khajuria jointed the Party in presence of Party Senior President and MLC Ved Mahajan here today.
Welcoming Gupta and his associates in the Party fold, Mahajan said that Gupta was never away from the Party. He said that due to some misunderstandings he left the Party, but was always thinking about the welfare of the Party. Mahajan said that Gupta joined the Party when the PDP was untouchable in the Jammu region and for endorsing Party’s policies in the masses, he walked the length and breadth of the Jammu region.
While endorsing the party policies, Mahahan said that the work done by. Mufti Sahib was an example in itself and the three years of the Chief Ministership has made a base for the coming governments.
Speaking on the occasion, Bhushan Gupta thanked Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Baldev Slathia, R. K. Bali and all others who welcomed him on this day. He said that he was never away from the Party and had full faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohd Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti, who had given a new life to the turmoil hit state. The three years’ of Mufti’s rule was a turning point in the history of the State and the healing touch policy filled a confidence in the hearts of the masses. He further said he would do everything for the welfare of the masses and spreading the party policies in the masses.
