| Social empowerment program for women organized | | | JAMMU AUG-21- A social empowerment program for women was organized under the aegis of the District Youth Aman committees in collaboration with Rajouri Division. Over 150 civilian ladies from Rajouri town attended the program and interacted with the ladies of the station. Mrs Laxmi Roy President AWWA, Ace of Spade Division was the chief guest.
In her inaugural address AWWA President highlighted the need for better education of women and their role at home and to the society. She said the women have more influencing power to mould the society for the betterment.
The interaction session was followed by an open house session comprising open debates and fun filled games and the entire program generated a great synergy between the Army wives and the women of Rajouri town.
