Cultural Academy Sub-Office Dodain collaboration with district administration Ramban organized a Mushaira at Ramban at which the district development commissioner A.D. Shinas was the Chief Guest while Wajid Ali, Commandant BSF. presided over.
The poets who recited their poetry included Ushaq Kishtwari, Altaf Kishtwari, A.S. Ahsan, Riaz Museeb, Betab Jaipuri, Deepak Aarsi, A.K. Baibas, Amrit Varsha, R.K. Sharma, Hakeem Jan Mohd, A.G. Baibas Sajid Sarmadi, Wajid Ali and Gulab, Saifi.
Welcoming the poets and the guests, Cultural Officer F.A. Faridi informed that the Musharia is being held as part of National Integration week.
The deputy commissioner lauded the efforts of the Secretary Academy Dr. Rafeeq Masoodi for organizing programmes in District Ramban as well. The newly created District Ramban has become a hub of Cultural activities due to the endeavours of the Secretary Cultural Academy. |
