| Unidentified militant killed Tral | | | Early Timers Reporter

In a joint operation, Awantipora Police has eliminated an unidentified militant at Batnoor Tral aas per the reports during an encounter in the area.
According to SP Awantipora, Police received specific information regarding the presence of militants in the forest area of Kramulla, Batnoor Tral on which an operation was launched by Awantipora Police with 31 RR. As the Police zeroed in onto the target area, militants opened indiscriminate fire on them which was duly retaliated and during the ensuing encounter one unidentified militant was gunned down, he added.
He said that while the identity of the slain militant was being ascertained, further search of the area is being carried on by the Police. Further details will follow. |
