Security forces on Monday foiled an exfiltration bid by arresting four Bangladeshi nationals near the International Border in Ramgarh sector of Jammu division.
Border Security Force troops noticed some suspicious movement near the IB at nursery post in Ramgarh sector and arrested four persons, a BSF spokesman said.
Preliminary questioning revealed that they belonged to Bangladesh and were trying to cross over to Pakistan, the spokesman said.
The arrested persons were identified as Mohammad Sujan, Janu Mian and Noor Mohammad Mian - all belonging to Jathi village of Silhad district and Nikhil Talukdar of Baburkhan village in Suhanganj district in Bangladesh.
A sum of Rs 40 in Indian currency was recovered from them, the spokesman said and added that they would be handed over to the police for further investigation.
