| Serial blast in UP, failure in security network: Rehman | | | Early Times Reporter

Condemning the serial blasts at Varanasi Faizabad and Lucknow in the state of Utter Pradesh, in the court premises, Samaj Wadi Party (SP) denounced it as a failure of security network and of law enforcing agencies of both the state and centre governments.
Addressing the party workers SP state president and Ex-MP Sheikh Abdul Rehman said that the militancy which was limited to J&K and Punjab had now spread its tentacles, in either state of country. While criticizing the UPA led congress government and UP chief minister, Mayawati, Rehman alleged that both centre and UP government had failed in providing the security Shield and this is the failure of security network, which leads to the powerful serial blast in the UP state. Rehman in the meeting appealed the people to maintain communal harmony, brotherhood, which only can frustrate evil design of the militants etc.
Among others who attended the meeting were, BS Chowdhary, Ram Parkash Sharma, DK Singh, Ram Singh, Sham Lal, Sheikh Mohd. Shafi and Pritam Gupta. |
