| Kulhand, Basantgarh massacre Kins gets govt job | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 26 The state government under SRO 43 appointed 26 persons, being kins of those killed by militants at Kulhand and Basantgarh of districts of Udhampur and Doda during the month of April 2006. As per official spokespersons 13 persons belonging to Basantgarh of district Udhampur were appointed as class IV employees in education department. The persons are Om Prakash, Joginder Singh, Romesh Kumar, Rita Devi, Kamla Devi, Lekh Raj, Kula Devi, Bagroo Devi, Pushpa Devi, Bishni Devil, Sunita Devi, Bimla Devi and Kewal Kumar. Similarly another batch of 13persons of Kulhand massacre of district Doda, too have been appointed on class IV port in various departments. The persons are Shakuntla Devi and Rita Devi in health department. Pinki Devi, Bimla Devi and Gilu Devi in education department. Kuldeep Singh, Janak Raj, Inder Singh, Ashok Kumar, Raj Kumar and Satish Kumar in animal husbandry department, while Mohinder Singh and Satish Kumar have been provide job in sheep and PWD respectively. Incase of one Jai Singh S/o Magar Singh (killed ) the GAD has advised that the case be put up for appointment under SRO 43 when the applicant gains the gage of majority. Similar remarks have been given in case of one Guddi Devi d/o Gopi Chand (killed). No family members of Shish Ram (Killed) S/o Devi Chand R/o Thawa could be considered in SRO-43 as the family income exceeds Rs. 5000/- PM limit which does not fal under preview of SRO-43. |
