| JU organizes display your talent | | | Early Times Reporter

The first phase of the Display Your Talent 2007-08, being organized by the Department students Welfare, University of Jammu was inaugurated here today. Prof. N.R. Sharma, chairman Campus Cultural Committee was the chief guest.
Addrsing the participants Prof. Sharma Said that the endeavour of the Department of Students Welfare as well as the Campus Cultural Committee is to provide suitable platform to the students to exhibit teir talent in abundance. He exhorted the younger generation to participate in co-currlcular activities with enthusiasm as these play an important role in one’s life.
In the first session, On the spot Painting Competition was conducted Sahil Ohri, of Government MAM College, clinched the first prize while Mahindra Kumawat from RK College of Education and Neeraj Sharma from the Dept. of Liberty Science and information Technology, University of Jammu bagged second and Third prize respectively.
Kanwar Iqbal, from Govt. Medical College, bagged first prize while Seeret Hussain and Suditi Suri, both from the Department of Law, were adjudged second and third respectively in the sketching Competition.
Gobind singh Rana senior cartorist of ‘Early Times’ and Dheeraj Nanda were the experts for the sketching competition while Dr. Lalit Sen was the Teacher Incharge.
Among others Dr. Dhian Singh, Dr. Neeru Sharma, Sachin Bhagat, Rishi Kumar and Neeraj Sharma were also present. |
