Azad, who is in the union capital pursuing development schemes for the State with Government of India, urged the ministry of transport to include Srinagar and Jammu in the scheme as a special case and keeping in with the traffic congestion on the two capital cities' roads. The Chief Minister exuded confidence that his request for the inclusion of the State's two main cities in the country's ambitious programme and provision of funds to the tune of Rs. 600 crore would be acceded.
