| Several deputations meet C M's Advisor | | Azad Govt. has put infrastructure development on fast track: Gupta | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 26 A number of deputations and individuals met Political Advisor to Chief Minister Janak Raj Gupta here today and apprised him about their problems and development demands. The deputationists also presented memoranda to Gupta detailing their demands. A deputation of Rehri and Pehrri Union from Udhampur called on Gupta and urged for allotment of land to carry on their activities at a permanent place. The deputation led by Municipal Councilor Ashwani Khajuria and Chairman, Kissan Cell of JKPCC, Rajesh Kumar Sharma expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for taking historic initiatives for speedier socio-economic development of the people particularly economically weaker sections of the society. Another deputation of Inspectors of Forest Protection Force met Gupta and urged for better promotion prospects. The deputation of employees of health department working on consolidated pay demanded their regularization. JKPCC General Secretary, Kanta Bhan was also present. Another deputation of Rehbar-i-Zirat urged for release of their remunerations. Responding to the demands put-forth by the deputationists Gupta in several cases on the spot took up the matter with the concerned authorities for redress thereof. He assured that all their genuine demands would be considered on priority. He also threw light on the path breaking initiatives taken by Chief Minister, for ensuring massive infrastructure development across the state. He said construction of roads, drinking water and power supply schemes have been put on fast track to benefit the people. He also highlighted other achievements of the Azad-led government including launching of Roshni scheme, setting up of additional university campuses, degree colleges and other institutions, besides creation of new administrative units across Jammu and Kashmir to make the state prosperous. |
