Minister for Health and Medical Education Mangat Ram Sharma today inaugurated Max-Driving and Maintenance School at Talab-Tillo Jammu and also inspected the Zanana and Children park there..
Interacting with management and staff on the occasion, the Minister urged for imparting high-tech training to the trainees so that drivers are made thoroughly professional. "A trained driver is a social asset who is instrumental in ensuring safety of passengers besides helping in containing the menace of road accidents", Mangat said adding need of the hour was to teach properly traffic rules to the drivers during training.
Later, the Minister inspected Zanana and Children's Park at Talab-Tillo being developed at a cost of Rs 30 lakh. He instructed the executing agency to speed up the construction work and ensure its completion by using standard material within a stipulated timeframe. |
