| Jammu school athletics meet from tomorrow | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | Nov 27: Annual inter-school athletics meet of Jammu district, organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, to start from November 29 at University of Jammu tracks, here.
To begin with the competitions in both field and track events shall take place in different age groups of boys for three days, followed by the girls events from December 2 at the same venue.
“Athletes from around 250 Middle, High and Higher Secondary Schools of Jammu district shall gather at the University grounds to complete for different field and track events under the guidance of technical officials of the department,” District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, Jai Raj told Early Times Reporter.
The department is expecting over 1000 odd participation in this week-long district level event. |
