| Ram Dayal’s helps J&K take 186 runs lead | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 27: Powered by a brilliant 131 runs innings by Ram Dayal today guided Jammu and Kashmir to a 186 runs first innings lead over Jharkhand in the ongoing Cooch Behar under-19 cricket tournament at DDA Stadium, New Delhi. Earlier, J&K resumed their innings from overnight score of 85 for one but lost their second wicket in the shape of Ranjeev Singh, who made 36 runs. Manik Gupta, who was playing at 17 yesterday, went to the pavilion contributing 31 runs. It was Ram Dayal who made all difference displaying his excellent batting skills and propelled J&K to a big score of 386. Aditya Pratap Singh and Muddasar contributed 22 and 25 runs respectively. When the stumps were drawn, Jharkhand were struggling at six for one. Muddassar clinched the first wicket lost by Jharkhand. |
