Jammu | Nov 27: Physical Education Teachers (PETs) of Jammu today met under the chairmanship of Pavitar Singh to discuss various issues pertaining to the community, here.
After holding deliberations, the PTEs attending the meeting formed a provincial body with Jatinder Singh as its president and Rattan Lal as general secretary.
Earlier, the meeting expressed their concern over delay in grade revision in favour of
senior PETs at par with those in the Education Department. They also criticized the Department for not framing a transparent transfer policy with regard to the cadre. |
