EARLY TIMES REPORTER JAMMU | AUGUST 21 The activists of Shi Sena took out a protest rally against the working of Jammu Muncipal Cooperation (JMC) and alleged that JMC have failed to keep the city neat and clean. The protestors passed through various pats of the city raised slogans against the working of authorities who have not able to keep drainage system in working condition during rainy season, as the filth water from overflow drains enters the residential houses which badly effected the people. General Secretary, Ashok Gupta who was leading the protestors, while addressing said, that the health wing of the municipal cooperation has strength of 170 employees, but are no-were seen in the field. He said last Sunday traffic came to stand still at Jewel Chowk, Talab Tillo, Krisna Nagar, Mohinder Nagar etc please, as drain water flows on main road, causing problems for people. Gupta said, the higher authorities in the cooperation look with the problem being faced by public. A dharna was organized in front of Municipal Commissioners office. Among others who participated in the rally were Suresh Kumar, Sandeep Kumar, Lal Sing, Labha Ram, Surinder Kumar, Ashok Kumar.
