| Contractual medical employees call on minister | | | Early Times Reporter

A deputation of consolidate and contractual employees of medical education led by president JKTUC Sewa Ram and Sr. Vice President Deedar Singh today called on Hakeem Mohd Yaseen, Minister of transport, and chairman of committee framed to look into the grievances of contractual and consolidate employees explained in detail to him the miseries. They have been working continuously for the last about fifteen years and have left no stone unturned in favour of the department, but are suffering the plight by being paid meager wages to the tune of Rs.1500/- and Rs.2500/- respectively. They requested the chairman and early resolution of their demands.
A patient hearing was given by minister and chairman of the committee and assured the deputationists that their demands will be considered soon. |
