A week long national integration week concluded here yesterday. A function was organized at Indoor Stadium in which the students of various Govt. and Private schools participated and delivered speeches highlighting the importance of environment and its conservation.
During the campaign a Mushairah was organized jointly by the cultural academy and district information deptt. On the occasion several poets read their papers on the topic of linguistic harmony and highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the region. The students of Govt. High school and Govt. Primary School Samrah presented cultural programme focused around the theme.
Speaking on the occasion D.I.O, Kargil stressed for preserving the rich cultural heritage of the region and uncalculating spirit of National Integration and unity among the budding generation. The cultural officer, Kargil, Govt. High School Samrah Headmaster Bovt, Primary School Samrah also spoke on the occasion. |
