| Police arrests 2 OGWs | | | Early Times Reporter

A joint team of comprising the Handwara Police and Srinagar Police apprehended two upper ground workers who were reportedly passing on tips to the militants and also working as couriers for them.
Police reports said that following a reliable information about the existence pf OGWs in the area the police laid a trap and arrested two person in this regard. The arrested have been identified as Gh Mohi-ud-din Bhat S/o Mohd .Abdullah R/o Shogpora, Magam, Handwara and Javid Ahmad Mallah s/o Gh Rasool R/o Shahlal, Handwara at Waripora.
During the preliminary interrogation by the concerned team and the police station under whose jurisdiction the area falls i.e. the Police Station Handwara, the accused have revealed that they were Over Ground Workers working for HM and LeT outfits.
Concerned Police has registered a case in this regard. |
