| Deputations call on Advisor to CM | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 27 Various deputations today called on Advisor to Chief Minister, Mr. Janak Raj Gupta and putforth their demands for immediate fulfillment. A deputation of intending Sikh pilgrims led by Comrade Saroop Singh demanded grant of joint permit in favour of 122 pilgrims for having darshan of Deeri Sahib in Rawalakote through Chakan-da-Bagh route. They said despite having completed all formalities pre-requisite for visiting PoK, Srinagar based passport office has not cleared their permit documents till date. Acknowledging their demand Mr. Gupta assured to sort out the issue at the earliest after consultation with passport office. A deputation of Doda based migrants also met the Advisor and sought relief and rehabilitation package on the pattern of Kashmir’s migrants. It pleaded for grant of land under Roshni Scheme and construction of concrete accommodation thereon for permanent rehabilitation. The deputation also sought repairing of road and transport service to Belicharana Camp as a temporary relief measure. Gupta responding to their demands assured to take up thee issue with Chief Minister, stating that their genuine demands would be looked into. Yet another deputation of ITI trained diploma holders of PDD called on the Advisor and sought implementation of government order No.94-2006 under which they were entitled to technical grade and other incentives. |
