| Dah Artillery Brigade organizes medical camp | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Nov 28 For the facility of the border villagers, Dah Mountain Artillery Brigade, organized a medical-cum- veterinary camp at village Kalal and also provided to and fro free transportation facilities to the ailing persons. Two army physicians provided free treatment to nearly 350 patients who attended the camp. In his augural address the chief guest, on behalf of Commander Dah Brigade, thanked the Sarpanches, civil administration and the local population for their cooperation and assured that the army is committed for the welfare of the public and reiterated that their safety, honour and well being was upper most in their list of priorities. Some of the locals, who also spoke on the occasion, stated that presence of army in this area has not only brought stability in terms of peace, but also brought economic benefits for them. They said that the overall goodwill and widespread acclaim bears testimony of the tangible results achieved by the armed forces not only during the medical camps but as a matter of routine. |
