A ten plus two student of Government boys Higher Secondary school on Monday fell unconscious after he was hit in the abdomen by a Physical Education teacher.
Rahim Dutt son of Mohammad Din Dutt has been admitted in district hospital Rajouri hospital in a critical condition, where from he is likely to be shifted to GMC for specialized treatment.
Quoting eyewitnesses, sources told KMT that the physical education teacher Mir Alam hit the student in the abdomen for coming late in the morning prayers. They said that the teacher who was hiding behind a wall abruptly hit Rahim when he was entering in the school premises. The boy was rushed to district hospital Rajouri in unconscious state with blood oozing from his moth and nose. The doctors attending Rahim has described his condition as critical.
Meanwhile, the relatives of the boy has alleged that the teacher beat the boy out of grudge he was nourishing against Rahim as he had given later a tough hand during a Kabqdi match some days back.
The incident has evoked strong resentment among the relatives and students. |
